Our Dermalogica treatments are carried out by our highly experienced Beauty Manager, Ashli.  She is a fully trained Dermalogica skin therapist with a Level 4 qualification in Needling.  She has also completed the very latest PRO Needling training at Dermalogica.  Dermalogica services can only be offered by therapists who have passed the required Dermalogica training courses.

Please Note:  An allergy patch test is required 48 hours before some of our treatments, including peels.   Please book a complimentary consultation appointment so we can carry out the patch test and discuss your pre and post treatment care plan.

FREE Face Mapping® Skin Analysis

How well do you know your skin?   Is it sensitive?  Is your skin oily, flaky and dry? Or perhaps a combination of both?

Perhaps, like most people, you don’t really know for sure, which is where our Face Mapping service can help.  This fifteen-minute, comprehensive skin analysis service will help identify your skin type.  It will also assess the condition of your skin and allow our expert beauty therapists to prescribe you a personalised skincare regime.

There is no charge for this service, but please book an appointment.

Dermalogica PRO Microneedling Treatments with PRO Restore

Dermalogica PRO Dermaplane

Dermaplaning is a highly effective facial exfoliation treatment which is recommended by dermatologists.  It involves one of our fully-trained skin care experts using a surgical scalpel to gently scrape off the dead skin cells from the surface of your face.  It’s also a very effective method of removing downy hair, or “peach fuzz” and by removing dead cells, it will allow your skincare products to work better.

Over time, dead skin cells and fine hairs build up on your face, which can lead to a dull, flaky complexion.  A build up of dead skin cells can also clog your pores and hair follicles, leading to pimples, spots and breakouts.  So to maintain a healthy glow it’s super important to have a regular exfoliation treatment such as dermaplaning – plus your makeup will go on more smoothly without all the tiny hairs on your face in the way!

Dermaplaning is safe for most skin types, especially those with sun damage, fine lines or very dry skin and dull skin. It is not recommended however if you have highly reactive, sensitive or inflamed skin conditions, such as active acne (although dermaplaning can be used to reduce the appearance of acne scars once your skin has healed). It’s also best avoided if you have rosacea or keratosis pilaris, as it may irritate your skin. 

Book a consultation and we will advise you if dermaplaning is a suitable treatment for you, and recommend an alternative if not. 

Microdermabrasion

Microdermabrasion is an excellent skin resurfacing treatment that will leave your skin looking brighter, younger and less blemished.  It is especially suited to ageing, dry, oily, dull, congested or blemished skin as it will improve the appearance of pigmentation, scarring, fine lines and open pores.

 Using specialist equipment, microdermabrasion propels miniature grains across the skin’s surface to remove layers of dead skin cells.  The emergence of newer cells results in younger looking skin that is softer, tighter, brighter and smoother.

Results are visible after just one session and many people have a ‘one off’ treatment before a special occasion to ensure their skin looks its best.  Regular microdermabrasion treatments are recommended for optimum results however, and we may also recommend you combine this treatment with a prescribed Dermalogica skin product for maximum effect.
